EWALIA InsectProtect Pure Max for horses
Our insect repellent spray provides reliable protection for horses against horseflies, mosquitoes, flies, gnats, and ticks – completely free from chemical additives. The alcohol-free spray solution contains herbal oils and pure natural Ichthyol Pale, known for its skin-soothing and insect-repelling properties. Leaves no stains on skin or coat.
Application
Spray onto the coat from a distance of approx. 25 cm or apply with a sponge. Avoid eyes, ears, nostrils, and injured skin. Shake well before use. Store in a cool and dark place.

Ensure adequate ventilation. May cause allergic reactions. In case of ingestion or eye/skin irritation, seek medical advice. Do not allow to enter soil. Dispose of according to official regulations. Ineffective
Unfortunately, this spray is completely ineffective. Insects cannot even be driven away if you spray directly over them, or land them again immediately after spraying. Mind you, at the cleaning area, without sweating.

Has only a very short effect and smells of gasoline
Dear Ewalia team! I actually order the Ewalia fly spray with essential oils every year and I am also very impressed by it. I saw that there was a new one from Ewalia this year and I ordered it right away. Unfortunately, I noticed right from the first use that the effect only lasted a short time and the flies quickly landed back on the horse. In addition, I noticed the changed smell; to me it smells like gas. Perhaps this is due to the additive in the spray, because the composition of the spray is otherwise the same as the original one. I won't order it again because it is significantly more expensive and has less effect than the cheaper one. So I switch back to the other one, which stable colleagues have already bought on my recommendation, because I can really recommend it and it smells really good too.

Pleasant scent.. usually works well
I've been using this product (The original Insect Protect) for a long time and this year the Pure Max, which impresses me even more because it also keeps brakes away as much as possible. I have already recommended this product many times.

Does not deliver what it promises
I took the “normal” insect spray for many years and was very satisfied with it. I have now become aware of this and have ordered it. Unfortunately I was disappointed across the board. My horse was covered with brakes. I will be taking the normal Ewalia bug spray again

Not entirely convincing
I don't find this spray significantly better than the normal fly spray. It stinks more and more unpleasant, but I can't tell that it works better. So I will definitely order the other spray again, which is also a lot cheaper. In addition, a black spray head was included, which unfortunately spilled a lot. That was very annoying because a lot of the expensive stuff was lost. I've now screwed on the mane spray head, it's tight. All in all not as great quality as I usually know it from Ewalia...

Schade
Since I am quite satisfied with many other products, such as hoof oil, I bought the spray. Unfortunately, it barely prevents most pests from stinging the horses. Quite disappointing for the big price, too bad!
