EWALIA Rio Grande Liquid is a liquid feed supplement containing selected herbs of pharmacopoeia quality. It has been specially developed for horses whose organisems are subject to special requirements in old age – whether due to hormonal changes, slowed metabolic processes or difficult coat changes. The recipe is traditionally valued for its vitality, inner balance and healthy energy metabolism. This makes Rio Grande Liquid a valuable addition to daily feeding, gently supporting older horses and promoting their long-term well-being.

Feeding duration:
This amount is fed continuously. We recommend feeding our herbal Liquids for at least 4 weeks. For optimal support, feed our products continuously.
Administration: add directly to the feed or give directly into the mouth using the oral syringe.

Many horse owners know the challenges of older animals. Terms such as Cushing's or Equine Cushing's Syndrome (ECS) are often associated with changes such as muscle loss, abnormal coat growth, tiredness or a weakened immune system. Such developments can make everyday life more difficult and require a lot of attention.
Adapted feeding can offer valuable support here. Traditionally valued herbs such as chasteberry and milk thistle have long been associated with the hormonal metabolism and can help accompany balance and well-being.
How should I feed if I can only give it once a day?
We recommend ideally splitting the daily dose into two feedings. This way, the body receives smaller portions throughout the day and can make good use of them.
If two feedings aren't possible in your daily routine, that's not a problem: you can also feed the entire daily dose once a day.
Can several herbal liquids be fed at the same time?
Yes, you can feed up to three different EWALIA herbal liquids at the same time. Each of our herbal blends is tailored to a specific area of support – so they complement each other wonderfully without interfering with one another.

Packaging size really environmentally relevant for larger quantities
Dear Ewalia team, I started an experiment and supplied all of my 12 horses with one to three juices a day because my THP recommended it to me that way. After just one week, I've produced plastic waste that really blows the bucket. I would like to continue this feeding (with 12 horses, all of which should receive at least 1 and up to 3 juices a day), and I'm not interested in the costs, but really about the environmental aspect. I can no longer represent this waste production and will really no longer buy your juices for that reason. I would be there again immediately if you offered larger quantities of packaging, especially for large buyers with several horses in the stable:) Greetings!

Excellent effect
My horse had major adjustment problems; after 14 years in the same hands, I took him over. Everything was new and unusual, the climate was different, the people were new, different horses, new surroundings. He had major problems at first, from colic to poor breathing and sweating. He has no Cushing and no lung problems. I kept feeding as before and saw how I could extend that. Ewalia studied the pages and found that black cumin oil and Rio Grande could help as a cure. In fact, everything improved after just a few days and now he is doing very well.

Unfortunately, the juice from my horse is not accepted at all. Not even with the best goodies in the food. I've moved on to giving it in his mouth with an injection, even here he just spits it out again. So unfortunately I can't really say anything about the effect. I've now more or less squeezed a three-quarter bottle (from three purchased ones) into it. It won't continue. But I'm still impressed by the Ewalia products. With my second one, I got the faecal water under control thanks to the Darmvital juice. This is also very well received. So two thumbs up here!
