EWALIA Bowel Vitality Liquid for horses

Supplementary feed for horses - supports the maintenance and stabilization of the natural processes in the gut for optimal intestinal function and flora. Specially selected pharmacopeia-grade herbs promote a healthy intestinal lining, help stabilize the gut flora, and can naturally counteract bloating and loose stool. Chamomile and peppermint additionally provide soothing benefits for the digestive system.


Feed Recommendation (Horse 500kg)

We recommend a feeding duration for at least 3 weeks.


  • Normal need: 40ml twice daily
  • Higher need: 2-3 times that amount for at least 10 days

A healthy gut is the foundation of your horse's well-being. Many horse owners know the situation: suddenly the horse seems bloated, shows fecal water, or digestion appears to be out of balance overall. Such moments can quickly become a challenge in daily stable life and require attention and sensitivity.

The intestinal flora plays a key role here. It contributes not only to harmonious digestion but is also important for nutrient absorption and inner balance. If it gets out of rhythm – for example through stress, feed changes or housing conditions – you can often notice it quickly in the horse's behavior and vitality.

With gut-friendly feeding, you accompany your horse in a natural way – and help prevent diet-related issues before they become real challenges. Traditionally used plants such as yarrow, bilberry leaf or marshmallow have long been valued in connection with intestinal balance and well-being and can sensibly round off daily feeding.

How do I feed if I can only give it once a day?

We recommend ideally splitting the daily dose into two feedings. This way the body receives smaller portions throughout the day and can make good use of them.

If two feedings are not possible in your daily routine, that's no problem: you can also feed the entire daily dose once a day.


What is the difference between Stomach Liquid I and Intestinal Vital Liquid?

  • Stomach Liquid I (Protection & Regeneration): This liquid focuses on the upper digestive tract. It was developed to support the stomach's natural protective barrier. Thanks to mucilage-forming plant substances such as marshmallow, a harmonious stomach environment is promoted and the regeneration of the mucous membranes is accompanied from a nutritional perspective. It is ideal for horses with a sensitive stomach or for seasonal support during feed-related irritation.
  • Intestinal Vital Liquid (Stabilization & Intestinal Flora): The focus of this liquid is on the intestinal area. It serves to regulate and stabilize the intestinal flora as well as general intestinal functions. Tannins it contains support firmer manure consistency, while mucilage-forming ingredients promote care of the intestinal lining. This is especially valuable with diet-related imbalances such as fecal water or a disturbed intestinal balance.

When do I feed Intestinal Vital Liquid and when Stomach Liquid I?

  • Stomach Liquid I for signs of stomach imbalances: Watch for signals such as increased yawning, chewing on nothing, or defensive behavior during grooming and saddling (girth sensitivity). If the horse reacts sensitively in the stomach area or often looks back inquiringly, Stomach Liquid I supports the natural protective barrier of the stomach lining.
  • Intestinal Vital Liquid for signs of intestinal irregularities: Irregularities in the intestinal tract are usually clearly visible or audible, for example through a bloated belly, increased flatulence or fecal water. Intestinal Vital Liquid supports the regulation of the intestinal flora and helps to stabilize normal intestinal function and manure consistency from a nutritional perspective.
  • Important note: Our liquids are high-quality supplementary feeds designed to gently support your horse's natural body functions. They are intended for prevention and accompaniment, but never replace diagnosis and treatment by a veterinarian in serious cases or acute complaints.

    Meine Stute hatte nach dem Wechsel auf eine neue Wiese starkes Kotwasser. Daraufhin habe ich ihr dem Darmvitalsaft gefüttert. Nach 1 Monat ist das Kotwasser weg und das Pferd wieder viel zufriedener.
