One look at your horse and you know whether it is a pony or a horse. 2× means 2× daily, i.e. morning and evening.

These two liquids have no loading phase, just one continuous amount: horse 2× daily 70 ml (3 bottles last approx. 3 weeks), pony 2× daily 50 ml (approx. 4 weeks).

I can only feed once a day – what now?
Then give the whole daily amount at once, i.e. double the amount once a day. For a horse, for example, 160 ml during the first 10 days and 80 ml afterwards, for a pony 120 ml and then 60 ml.
My pony weighs 325 kg, my warmblood 650 kg – how do I convert that?
You don't. 325 kg is a pony, 650 kg is a horse. There are only these two categories.
I have a Shetland pony. How much should I feed?
The pony dosage. For a very small pony it may also be a little less at your own discretion.
I have a Shire horse. How much should I feed?
The horse dosage. For a very heavy horse it may also be a little more at your own discretion.
Do I need to take a feeding break?
No. There is no proven habituation effect, a break is not necessary. All our products are suitable for continuous feeding.
Does the new dosage apply to all products?
It applies to our herbal liquids. For horses, Metabolic Liquid and Rio Grande Liquid have one continuous amount without a loading phase (see above). The exact recommendation is always on the respective product page too.

Our Story
The idea for the Liquids arose out of a private emergency. Cornelia's young tournament horse Quattro suffered from a persistent, chronic cough and could no longer be ridden. After an unsuccessful search for a natural, chemical-free cough liquid for horses that contained neither sugar nor other preservatives, Ewald and Cornelia decided to develop one themselves. After extensive research and studying many older and current herbal books, the recipe for the Halswohl Liquid was developed together with veterinarians. Together, Cornelia and Ewald cooked the first liters in their own kitchen, and after one week of feeding, Quattro was rideable again. Word of this success spread quickly through the equestrian world, and the two soon received many inquiries about the Halswohl Liquid.
Many nights the two of them stood together in the kitchen, taking care of production, packaging and shipping by themselves. After presenting their product at various horse fairs in Austria and Germany, demand grew very quickly. Ewald and Cornelia could soon no longer manage the daily business alone alongside their other jobs, and so they founded EWALIA.
